Twitter is a microblogging platform where the limit of the messages or “tweet” is restricted to 140 characters. It’s a free social networking platform where, we can get the online news and the incidents happening in the world.
How to share your blog on twitter?
- Click on the ‘twitter share button’ below the blog post.
- Copy the ‘tweet text’ from the ‘tweet text box’.
- Login to ‘twitter’ and click on ‘tweet’.
- In the ‘Compose new tweet box’; Paste the ‘tweet text’ copied.
- Add ‘#tags’ with suitable keywords related to the post.
- Add an appropriate image for the post; by clicking on the ‘camera icon’ on the bottom-left.
- Click on ‘Tweet ‘button.
- See the ‘post’ is tweeted on the wall.
How to show twitter tweets or updates on your blogger page?
- Click on the ‘profile photo icon’ on top-right of twitter page.
- Click on ‘Settings & Privacy’.
- On the settings page, Click on the ‘widgets menu ‘ at the left- bottom.
- On the widget page, you can see a ‘create new’ button
- Clicking on ‘Create New’ button will show different options. Select ‘Create new’ -> ‘Profile’.
- On the next page, you have to type, what you want to ‘embed’.
- Type the ‘twitter handle’ (eg: @sometext) of your profile or the full URL of your twitter profile (eg: https://www.twitter.com/sometext); and click next.
- Select your ‘Display options’.
- Copy the code from the ‘text box’.
- Come to blogger and click on ‘Layout’ menu.
- Click on ‘Add a Gadget’.
- Select ‘HTML/Java Script’ from the Popup box.
- Paste the ‘copied code’ to the ‘content’ text box and press ‘save’ button.
- Now go to your ‘blogger page’ and refresh to see the ‘twitter tweets’ on your blog.
